Growingupisajourneythateveryonemustgothrough,andeachstepofthewayismarkedbymemories.Thesememoriesareunique,andtheyformapartofwhoweare.Everyyearonmybirthday,ItaketimetoreflectonthememoriesthathaveshapedmeintothepersonIamtoday.Eachgrowthdaybringsanewlesson,anewchallenge,andanewopportunitytogrow.Thisisthestoryofoneofmygrowthdays,andhowithasbecomeacherishedmemory.

Asthesunroseonmy16thbirthday,Iwokeupwithasenseofanticipation.Itwasnotjustanotherbirthday–itwasmygrowthday.Ihadbeenlookingforwardtothisdayforweeks,knowingthatitwouldbeadayofreflection,growth,andcelebration.
